Looks like I will be doing a little rock in Kailua with Darin’s band a couple Saturdays a month as well. I’m actually pretty excited about having to sing Tool’s “Sober” with them… I have a feeling it’s going to be challenging.

I really do wish T could convince Darin to to “Destroyer” though. That would be so fun.

I’m not going to even start with this one. I feel like I don’t work in a karaoke bar anymore. Our place is more like a deli, what with all the butchering that goes on there on a nightly basis. I will say this… you are spot on with the Linkin Park thing. Unless you are some screaming FREAK of nature, you are not getting anywhere close to Chester’s range. I know, because every now and then I end up drinking till real late and then I think “Hey! I’m think I can sing From The Inside. It can’t be that hard of a song.”. Only when I wake up the next morning, unable to speak do I realize that I am a fool. Okay, it’s not the only time when I realize I’m a fool, but you know what I mean. I included the song below so you know just how bad of an idea it is.

OH YEAH “Let Her Cry.” I cringe every time I hear that song start, which invariably it does WITHOUT the customer getting the first line. lol Why do guys always want to sing that stupid song?

almost every song up there makes me want to punch someone in the throat…you can also add every Hootie song out on Karaoke…I seriously don’t get it…i’m pretty sure there were good songs written after 1995…why the fuck does every wannabe have to sing the same crap??? It’s crazy…It really irks the crap out of me when people actually sing like they are performing on stage…I MEAN WTF??? FUCKING LOSERS!!! Shit if you are with a big group and you are fucking around in front of your friends then that’s cool…If you are alone, sit the fuck down in a corner and keep the shit to yourself…I hear singers that impress me every so often, and for the most part they cruise and just sing…no scene..no posing..no “LOOK AT ME” crap…Fuck Lauren why did you post this??? just thinking about this shit makes me mad!!! hahahaahahaha

Ok, I watched it again, to the end. She actually sounds ok when she does the line “I wanna touch you!” at the end. Other than that she lacks sufficient emotion, expression & attitude every time she sings, which is made painfully clear by contrast every time Joe Elliott sings even a couple of notes.

But my God, Def Leppard is an amazing live act.

I think another female singer could have done justice to this song, like Patty Smyth, of course Pat Benatar… or if I had to choose from modern day female vocalists I’d probably go for Katy Perry or her friend Lesley Roy.

My sis used to be IN LOVE with Mike Patton. I thought he was awesome when “Epic” came out because he was able to be goofy & badass at the same time.

I’ve seen that Tiny Toons video! For some reason it makes me want to go look up stuff on weebls now. There’s this one video where the dude is marching toward the camera, singing “I’ve seen thing! I’ve seen them with my eyes!” Dammit. I have to go visit weebls now.
